FAQ’S  How long will it take to assemble my dollhouse?    That depends on a number of factors:

  • How much experience you have with model building or other crafts that require assembly

  • How familiar are you with the use of various tools – what is your skill level

  • Will you be able to work uninterrupted? All of these can affect how long it takes, but it is achievable by anyone with the ability to read and follow directions.  Everyone works at their own pace and this is one time when rushing is not a good idea.  If fact, doing this in a hurry will take away a lot of the fun and the results could be less than satisfying.

What happens if something goes wrong, doesn’t fit or seems impossible?

Contact us.   If we don’t know the answer, we will find someone who does.  Most often it is just something minor – don’t panic.

Do I need special skills to do this?

An imagination and the ability to read and follow instructions should do it.   Once again, we are here to help if you need it.

What if I change my mind?   Can I return it?

Please read our return policy before you buy.

What kind of glue is recommended for assembling the dollhouse or kits?

For the body of the dollhouse or room box a white, water clean-up glue that dries clear is recommended.  Elmer’s is probably the one used most often and is available at hardware stores (even some supermarkets).  Carpenter glue works, but does not dry clear and glue smear is yellow or tan.  For some parts that are pre-painted, this is an important factor.  Do not use water based glue on wood shingles.  It will cause the shingles to curl.  A liquid nail #94 (available at your local hardware store) comes in a caulking-gun tube.  Just don’t use any glue that claims to be “water clean- up”.
