COMPONENTS

What is a component?  Parts that complete,upgrade or modify a project can be loosely defined as components  - doors, windows, staircases, dormers,chimneys, spindles, railings, flooring, roofing, additions or porches.  It is important to install these during construction, so plan ahead.  This is a basic way to modify and customize a dollhouse, roombox, or shop.  Whatever your project, it is amazing how much you alter the overall appearance by adding a few of these architectural details.  Window that actually open and close, doors with distinctive detailing, fancy spindles on the porch, or a circular staircase will pesonalized your project and add that touch of realism.
